The Memory Garden was just completed with new landscape Wednesday, 15 October 2008 in memory of LTC Kim Orlando.

Wounded Warrior Unity Tour, 18 September through 25 September. Soldiers Bicyclist from FTCKY who peddled over 1,000 miles from FTCKY to Walter Reed in support of the FTCKY FH and WRAMC FH’s and to raise continued awareness of the need to support combat injured.
Massage therapy to benefit combat injured and their spouses through the Fisher House Wounded Warrior & Spouse Group on 25 September 2008. Their were 12 therapist from the Miller-Motte Massage Therapy School in Clarksville, TN.
Wal-Mart Father’s Day BBQ (Cook-out), on 12th of June 2008 for combat injured who attend the Fisher House Wounded Warrior & Spouse Group. The Wal-Mart’s represented are: Wal-Mart DC 6062 from Shelbyville, TN; and Wal-Mart DC 6066 from Oak Grove KY. The menu was grilled steak, shrimp, and corn. Along with coleslaw and baked beans. It was marvelous!
Chili cook off we did last Fall to inspire some competition with Combat Injured in our Fisher House Wounded Warrior & Spouse Group.
July 15, 2007 was the 4th Annual Rally for the Troops at Destination Harley Davidson in Tacoma, Washington.

Steve Gotthold, the conductor of the University of La Verne Chorale, and his choir traveling with 24 singers performed on the evening of January 29, for the residents of the Tripler Fisher House. These students come from LaVerne CA and also had a piano player and an oboe player to accompany their music.
