Hospital Information
Tripler Army Medical Center is the largest military medical treatment facility in the Pacific. It has a full spectrum of services for adult and pediatric patients to include Neonatal and Perinatal Medicine, Pathology, Pediatrics and Psychology. The medical treatment facility is a major teaching center that provides graduate training and fellowship programs.

House Information
Tripler Fisher House services families and patients receiving treatment at Tripler Army Medical Center. Families served are mainly from the Pacific area of Korea, Guam, Japan and Okinawa. The Fisher House is nestled on a hillside north of the hospital. There are taxis and a limited shuttle service. Most amenities will be provided to include toiletries, towels, linens, kitchenware, prepaid phone cards, cribs and rollaway beds. Laundry area is provided. Families pay $10.00 per night. Cash, checks and credit cards are accepted. Reservations may not be made. There is a waiting list of 2-4 weeks. Please call the Fisher House Manager for further information.

Area Highlights
Fort Lewis Fisher House is located near the city of Lakewood and the surrounding area of Tacoma. Olympia, Washington’s capital is located 12 miles southwest and Seattle, the largest city, is one hour north. There are several shopping areas nearby to include three malls. Fort Lewis and McChord AFB are adjacent to each other. Lakewold Gardens, a nearby leisure activity also support the Fisher House. The most popular nearby attraction/site is Mount Rainier, which can be seen most days from Fort Lewis.
