Hospital Information
Darnall Army Community Hospital serves approximately 10% of the Army based in the continental United States and one sixth of the Army’s children. It operates the largest Blood Bank Center in the Department of the Army. Other services include a Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Video Teleconference, Telemedicine, Teleradiology, Telepathology, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and CAT Scanner.

House Information
Fisher House is located adjacent to the south parking lot of the hospital. The Fisher House has 7 private rooms with baths, common kitchen area and a community dining room. Fisher House will provide most amenities to include toiletries, towels, linens, kitchenware, prepaid phone cards, cribs and rollaway beds. Laundry area is provided. Families pay $10.00 per night. Cash, checks and credit cards are accepted. Please call the Fisher House Manager for further information.

Area Highlights
Fort Hood is located just outside of Killeen, Texas. The Killeen area has several beautiful lakes and golf courses. Chalk River Falls, Miller Springs Nature Center, Vive Les Arts Theatre, Texas Thunder Speedway, PRCA Rodeo and Nature in Lights are just a few special events that take place near Fort Hood.

Army Fisher Houses receive no appropriated funding.
