Army Fisher Houses FAQ
What is a Fisher House?
Army Fisher Houses are comfortable, temporary homes filled with warm, caring people who help you and your family endure the stresses associated with a loved one's serious medical condition. Families pay $10.00 per night to stay in a Fisher House. This fee can be reduced or waived depending on a family's financial need.
Who is eligible to stay in an Army Fisher House?
Any family member of an active duty or retired service member who is being treated at the military hospital. In some locations, outpatients may also stay in the Fisher House.
Can I make reservations?
Unfortunately, due to the small number of rooms available in Army Fisher Houses, we are unable to take reservations. However, we encourage you to call the Fisher House Manager and inquire about the projected availability of rooms for a specific time period.
