Fort Lewis Fisher House Hospital Information

Madigan Army Medical Center has a full spectrum of specialty and subspecialty services for adult and pediatric patients to include Developmental Pediatrics, Perinatology Fellowship, Hematology / Oncology, NICU, and Radiation Therapy.

Fort Lewis Fisher House Information

House is located about a mile from hospital. There is no shuttle service provided. Military Taxi is available M-F 0730-1530 between Madigan AMC and The Fort Lewis Fisher House. The Fisher House will provide most amenities to include toiletries, towels, linens, kitchenware and prepaid phone cards. Laundry area is provided. Fort Lewis Fisher House is located near the city of Lakewood and the surrounding area of Tacoma. Olympia, Washington’s capital is located 12 miles southwest and Seattle, the largest city, is one hour north. There are several shopping areas nearby to include three malls. Fort Lewis and McChord AFB are adjacent to each other. Lakewold Gardens, a nearby leisure activity also support the Fisher House. The most popular nearby attraction/site is Mount Rainier, which can be seen most days from Fort Lewis.
